A big hello to the BMW community,

I'm proud to say I purchased my new 2023 M340i in Alpine White with Tacora Red interior.

Wow! What a car! What an engine! I've never driven a car with so much power. It feels surreal, I couldn't be happier.

I kept it relatively minimal on the add-ons:

• Driving Assistance Package
• Shadowline Package
• M Sport Package Pro

Sharing a few pictures, apologies for the quality, I haven't had a chance to take some proper shots as yet.

A few things I did recently:

• Replaced m sport spoiler with a high kick spoiler (eBay - $140)
• Attached a carbon fiber style trim to the steering wheel (eBay - $30)
• BimmerCode: set ambient lighting to blue
• BimmerCode: removed iDrive8 warning message prompt on start up

In the mail/on my list:

• Replace chrome m340i badge with black badge (eBay - $20)
• Alcantara steering wheel wrap ($80)
• Replace the tetragon dash trim with carbon fiber ($200)
• Ceramic window tint, 25% around except windshield ($400)

Contemplating:

• Racechip GTS Black Mild Hybrid piggyback tune ($680)

Updates:

- carbon fiber trim inside
- racechip GTS black tune
- black/silver steering wheel emblem


So far, the butt dyno with the race chip sees a noticeable improvement. Sport mode on the chip is like having auto sprint mode on. You can be in 5th gear, floor it, and it’ll drop you to 3rd. Very fun tune so far and easy to install.

Swapped original hood/trunk emblems with black/silver. Loving how this turned out next step hubcaps

Before anyone says anything my building assigned this EV parking spot to me when I moved in, the charger is out of order!

Is the carbon fiber trim an overlay or you swapped the actual pieces?

Hey! It is an overlay laid on with adhesive. I know that the first choice should be the swap of the actual trim, but I didn't go that route. Here is the link in case you're curious. I personally think the trim looks great, the only part it doesn't cover is the tip of the cupholder door, the trim on either side of the steel handle (if that doesn't make sense I can link a picture)

PS. The bow tie on the hood perhaps lacked proper aerodynamic profile to remain in place ...
