Anyone try Turner Motorsport floating rotors for track days?

I’m looking to take my m340ix to the track this year and am performing some maintenance items before the date. I know that braking will be a pain point due to the sheer weight and size of the current msport brakes. I’m looking for the best setup for track duty that will not experience fade or warping. I came across Turner’s floating rotor set, which seems like it would be ideal but I can’t really find much on them regarding reviews and such.

Has anyone installed these and can provide some insight into their performance and reliability?

Also, if anyone has recommendations on a good rotor/pad combo for light track duty, 2-3 times a year at most, it would be appreciated!!

Review this thread for pads, particularly the last 2-3 pages.

Are the M Sport brakes not sufficient for solid track use - with some higher temp pads and racing brake fluid?

I mean the front brakes are Brembo with 348mm x 36mm rotors.

I had a 996 911Turbo when it was new and tracked that. I didn't touch a thing just took it to the track. That car isn't that much lighter and it "only" had 330mm x 32mm front brakes and I could not fade them out.

I have not tracked the M340i but it seems like those brakes should be sufficient.

Is that just not the case?

Correct - all you need are pads and fluid with the OEM brakes and rotors.

As Chrispy mentioned, yes, stock rotors are fine. Just need upgraded pads and fluid. SS Brake lines also help tremendously with brake pedal feel.
