I just got 4.12s to 100 km/h using a Dragy.

I have a M340i dDrive with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 tires right now. Only 82kg driver, 65% gas and some stuff on board in zero degree (Celsius) weather here in Toronto winter.

Wow. Imagine what it can be in April when I put my PS4S tires back on, and try again with a quarter tank of gas and no stuff in trunk! Easily under 4 seconds!

Your 0-100kmph is 4.12. That means there’s a good chance that your 0-60mph is already below 4s. That 2mph takes a few milliseconds. I’m sure you already know that. Just pointing it out.

The M340i is a beast. Much faster than competition

The cold actually helps the engine. Not the tires, but with X-Drive traction probably not much of an issue.

Man! You have no idea. Traction light comes on all the time with these winters when accelerating and cornering!

HOLY! Will be waiting for the new results in april
My money is on sub 4 sec 0-sixty two. 3.6 - 3.7 may even be possible for a 0-60 with a sticky tires!

Did you use Launch Control? I haven't yet looked into wether the risk to the car is much of a concern as it says in the manual. I'd like to see what numbers I get with the PS4S tires back as well.

I don’t think so? You’ll need to buy a dragy or vbox or something to measure it properly. Dragy being the cheapest and most popular of the lot now.

It’s supposedly very accurate. People have compared it to drag slips from tracks and found it to be only a few 0.0x seconds and 0.x mph off.
Yes. It uses GPS.
