How long for your stop sale to lift?

Hi all, I've been searching for a M340i xDrive for about a week. At this point the one that fits what I want has a 'stop sale' on it for the RAM issue and it's in the processing center. Has a 9/1/21 production date. Out of curiosity, how long did it take for yours to get to you after being flagged as a stop sale? It seems all over the place.

Also, Carvana is giving me a crazy price on my Audi, so I'm planning to sell it to them next week and have no car until the BMW comes in. Is this a crazy move? I could probably borrow a car if I really need one, but am hoping I can survive without one.

My situation is weird. I spoke with my SA a couple days ago and he said mine is no longer in stop sale, but it won’t reach port for another week. I found that curious but he read the paperwork to me and my it said stop sale lifted. So I guess for me it didn’t make any difference. I’ve heard it can take up to 6 weeks for some and as little as a week for others.

You've found a car with your preferred options that's already built and you're worried about the stop sale?! GTFOOH! Many of us have been waiting months for a car!

We traded one of our cars when we ordered our M340i in August for nearly what we originally paid for it. It's been rough having only one car, but we're managing. No car at all? Only you can decide if that will work.

If your only potential wait time is for the stop sale to be resolved, take it and run. The wait times are improving for most people, but no guarantees.
You order a car now and you’ll wait months if you are lucky. Don’t risk more option deletions.

And, don’t keep those Audi Rotor wheels.
If you do, I will find you. 🤨

Lol I'm going to list them on in marketplace this afternoon after I pull the AWE exhaust off my car.

Color, interior, wheels, options, etc.

FYI, car got to Brunswick port Wednesday midnight (Thursday morning). Work order to fix RAM started Friday, but still shows “Open” on recall tool. They expect car to be shipped from VPC tomorrow and arrive at dealer on Tuesday, which would be unbelievable. I’ll keep you all posted

My stop sale was closed a week after it arrived at VPC, I am still waiting on PDC to schedule my delivery.

Honestly my dream car. Tried locating one with similar options with manual and the track handling package for a few years when I was in college, then gave up and got into the Audi world.

How do you determine this? Just ask your salesman? I see some people can login to their BMW account to see similar info, but I didn't order mine so I'm not sure if I could do it.

I just called the Genius line. Mine has a 9/1/21 production date. The work order started on the 19th and was scheduled to be picked up yesterday. Vin recall checker says it's still open though. Looks like they're getting through these cars pretty quickly. Fingers crossed it actually shows up at my dealer lol.
