Side Skirt Extensions: Matte Black or Paint Gloss Black

Looking for some advice. Certainly, it's my car and I have to be happy. Thing is . . I just don't know what I like better. And I am hoping some members have done both options and can chime in.

I have 2020 M340i xDrive. I wanted to add the side skirt extensions. And BMW sells a Gloss Black version for over $500.

I found many copy cat versions for much less. Ultimately, I went with this one from Kies and they arrived today. I went with Kies, over eBay as I have purchased some other items from them, and have been very happy:

These are Matte Black. And I Am not sure if I should keep them Matte or drop them off at the body shop and get them painted to match the car. I honestly don't know how I feel.

Previously, on my 440i GC, I had ordered M-sport Rocker panels and side skirt extensions. I had the rockers painted, and the extensions left Matte. It looked awesome.

But, this extension style is different. The rear part rides slightly up ht rocker pane. And I am wondering - will the matte look cheap that way?

It's probably going to cost me $300 to $400 to get them painted. And I am totally down to do it - if it will be the right look.

My M340i is Black Saphire.

What do you think?

1) Will gloss get lost , being that my car is a Gloss Black?
2) Will the matte cheapen the look?

We were going to install them Friday . . . but I will make a decision Thursday evening.

EDIT - If I decide that I want them painted, I will just send these back to Kies and buy the ones from BMW directly . . . as it will be cheaper than painting these. That may be the way to go.

LOL - Is there a way to delete this post? Problem solved. Will return and order the ones from BMW. Which, I should have done in the first place lol
