Get a piece of tempurpedic foam and wrap it. Throw it in the trunk and use it when needed. 👍

I really thought I’d miss the centre arm rest when I bought my CS as I used it a lot in my old car (G82). However I don’t miss it at all, genuinely doesn’t bother me that I don’t have one now

I think it’s mainly because the steering wheel is so much nicer and tactile and feels slightly thinner too, so I position my hands more on the top and bottom of the wheel, rather than the sides, so I don’t want/need to rest my elbows on anything - I’ve mulled this over a lot as you can tell lol

Not the safest way to hold the wheel.

I wonder if you can retrofit the regular arm rest, but there goes half your weight savings.

Not having an arm rest or door handles on my F82 CS were the two biggest “nuances” I had to get used to. Initially it really stood out to me, but eventually it became second nature.
Took plenty of long road trips in it and I found myself resting my elbow on the seat bolster.
Give yourself some time…you’ll grow accustomed to it.

If you were to retrofit, the rear temperature controls/vents would be a pain to get working

I had a Comp and then moved on to the CS. Never thought about the center armrest.

Wait what!!! My CS doesnt have an armrest?

All joking aside, it has not been an issue personally for me as I have been trying to turn as much as possible and enjoy that negative OEM camber.

If I have to do a longer drive I have, dare I say, the Tesla Plaid that whole car is a fucking armrest.

Only while cruising on the motorway, etc - the rest of the time it's either side of the wheel obviously...
