Hey guys,
I need some advice on ELV issues with my 2020 G20 318d (manual transmission). Got an ELV malfunction with error on dash and system stuck in "unlocked" position.
Main questions:

1. Is the ELV integrated into the steering column on G20, or is it a separate module that can be replaced independently?

3. Can ELV be completely disabled via E-SYS coding?

Local BMW dealer couldn't identify ELV part number
ELV doesn't show up as separate part in official catalogs
Considering repair vs replacement options

Has anyone dealt with similar ELV failures on G20?
