What coding have you done?
After a long search, I've finally managed to pick up a M440i in Dravit grey, with every option excluding a sunroof. Picked it up yesterday and I'm very happy!
On my previous F32 I was quick to code various options, such as; door handle lights in reverse, brighter DTR lights and video in motion etc (not that ever used the last option). I've have a Carly OBD coder and whilst I accept I can't do detailed stuff with this tool, what would people recommend I code on the G22? |

okay what I have done (here in the US)
*allow window roll down/up with door open *turned off ASD (active sound design) *turn off start/stop (mine is a 2020) *start in sport+ *no seat belt chime *no idrive warning *changed i drive start up screen *higher speed displayed on speedometer *5 blink blinkers for lane change Think that's it - but I likely forgot a couple Hope this helps a bit ps- I used bimmercode |

Controversial, but I like both ASD and the auto stop/start it seems to work very well indeed! Cheers! |

That said you can download BimmerCode from the App Store for free and run it in demo mode for free (no need to connect to car) to determine all your options Should you decide to code you pay for the app ( I would highly suggest you code with a cable and not wireless should you decide to move forward) Start/stop can be set to "off" or "leave in last position" Start mode can also typically be coded (whatever you want it to be) Hope this helps |

Not a criticism, just I've never understood people's issue with it. I don't have MHT and for me (and yes, ETTO) never been an issue with any delay. My old Amarok has a noticeable delay, but even then it doesn't bug me.

Likewise. If I think I'm going to need the engine on (busy junction etc) I just shift left which kick-starts it back up again.

That’s what I do. I have coded it to remember it’s last setting but more often than not, happy for it to stop the engine. I quite often use the driving assist in slow traffic so it starts the engine as soon as cars in front start pulling away.

My last car was a 2019 A4 Avant and it had a terrible stop start where you had to push hard on the accelerator to get the engine to start. My 330e was obviously much better as it started in electric and now I have a 320d MHT and the stop start is seamless and I ever even notice it which is a good thing. All my observations and IMHO. 😁
