Hey guys so I’m not sure how familiar you are with BimmerUtility but it’s like bimmercode on steroids iv only seen one forum talk about it and not a lot of ppl know about it i feel like if someone is tech data savvy they might be able to find a way to code the M theme through that app it gives you functionality to re write VO data and FA data so maybe there is a way to trick the system to think it’s a M model from factory?? Iv messed with it a lil bit but im not that good lol , also they instrument cluster shows up but no coding for it sadly

You are correct. A few people have made it work this way. They are gatekeeping and trying to make money off of it..

Shitni wouldn’t mind paying a couple hundred for the theme but i have yet to find anyone besides some Asian guy in facebook that has done it

Sounds good let me know, if so i would get the bimmerutility. I would wanna do the ambient color change to red too. That’s dash to good. will it not change it with the settings it has? or would you have to custom code it on the app?

I’m not sure tbh iv only been coding for like a few months from what i understand the FA codes need to be overwritten so the car thinks its a M from factory , but it has better options for ambient lighting than bimmercode
