M340i leaking coolant?
Hey guys, so I just am a bit worried the other day I noticed a bunch of dried up white spots all over my drivers front rim and I had no idea what it was, so after a oil change today I was looking under the hood and found the coolant reservoir full of these white dots I found on the rim, also there's some dried coolant around it, Anyone have this ?? I attached the video aswell

Looks like a leak better have dealer check it out. May be hard to spot unless cooling system is under pressure

Late to this thread-I have noticed the same residue on my coolant cap. The dealer said it was from when they "topped it off" while they were repairing my transmission ( they had to take out the transmission and replace a seal and bolts after it started leaking fluid at 10k miles). The coolant issue seems to be residue that leaked and not a spill or overflow from when they "topped" it off.
Any tips on how to get the dealer to actually pressure test or look at the car without brushing me off? I already have a case with BMW NA to try to repurchase/replace because of constant issues. |
