H&R vs AC Schnitzer Springs

I have had the H&Rs on my 2022 G26 for a little over a year. They are fine around town, but nerveracking on road trips, bridge transitions, holes, etc. With 20 inch wheels, it's pretty bouncy and rough.

I couldn't find a lot of options for the M440i Xdrive a year ago. Dinan still doesn't show springs for this car. I knew H&R was pretty aggressive- I ended up with the full 1.5 inch drop in the front. It actually looks a little too low in the front but the back is perfect to me.

The ACS option says it maintains ride quality and the drop is maximum 1 inch. I'm wondering if these would be much better with 1/2 inch more travel or if I'd be spending $1500 on parts and labor for nothing. Thoughts anyone?

I wouldn't bother paying labour again just for another set of springs. By this point your stock struts may be pretty tired. I'd go full coilovers or at least springs with Bilstein B6/B8 struts.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately Bilstein doesn't show a strut for this model. My shop recommended coilovers but not sure if I want to go that route quite yet.

I regret getting Dinan Springs. I need coilovers for these imperfect LA roads. Turns in the canyons with dips are pretty unsettling
