M340i with LEIB OPF/GPF delete module running lean?
Hi, I recently removed the OPF/GPF (particulate filter) on my M340i. I replaced it with a custom midpipe. I have two modules from LEIB (OPF delete and CAN MIL delete).
Everything works without any issues, but I’ve noticed a few times that at the highest RPMs, the engine seems to lose power momentarily, then shifts to a higher gear and accelerates again. The same happens in manual mode—I sometimes feel like shifting earlier at high RPMs because it seems like there’s no power left. This has happened a few times. My question is: could this be caused by removing the particulate filter? The turbo might be breathing better, but is the ECU unable to adjust? Could the mixture be running lean? Additionally, could this be damaging the engine or turbo? How much can the ECU actually adjust for this? I’d also like to ask if the car could handle a 200-cell sports downpipe together with OPF delete, or would the ECU no longer be able to regulate such a high flow without tune? Thank you guys. |

for OPF delete best choice is to delete it from software also.More power output , less ghost codes
