To be frank, I find the entire front-end of this car ghastly.

I don't quite understand how the Italian masters of design
can come up with something so horrendous lol it must have been a directive from the corporates I guess the predecessors of the existing Giulia design.. |

I mean, you think the Guilia is the most beautiful (and reliable!) car on God's green earth, whereas I think the front end was inspired by an Esdel and a knocking shop, and I'm not the only one who thinks its headlight droop came off the previous BMW 1 series |

This is FACTS ! If this car drives / FEELS anything like the F30 , well then looks like the C class will continue outselling it for years to come ... unfortunately. It's a hard pill to swallow for any true BMW enthusiast right now considering the C43 looks amazing compared to this Kia. I think they will have an amazing opportunity with the LCI but right now considering the engine is directly from the F30 ... It's hard to stay positive. Who knows 😶 |

None that do it for me like the SZ. Will look at a Stelvio QV though to replace my X3 35i next year.

Looks are subjective. Especially if you've owned or been around a car for a long time. I personally think the Giulia is by far the best looking compact luxury sport sedan on the market. At first the front grille looked a bit strange, but it's such a new design element (for Americans, anyway) that it catches you off guard. Once you get acquainted to it, it grows on you.
I had a Chevy SS for a while (drives FAR better than any F30 ever made, BTW). One thing that car is NOT, is good looking. By some self-aware SS owners, we jokingly refer to it as an Impala. Some delusional owners, though, think it's a really sexy car. They're convinced it's the pinnacle of modern car design (I might be being hyperbolic there). Some even dare to compare its styling to the E39 M5. While it might drive kinda like the best M5, it certainly doesn't look like one. The general consensus is that it's at best a sedate looking American sedan. Point is, we are not good judges of what the F30 looks like. It's not considered an ugly car by any means, but it's not usually talked about during discussions of the best looking cars. Cars like the Alfa Giulia or Infiniti Q60 are the ones that draw the most praise for styling. |
