The non M-Sport bumper is just weird looking. M-Sport is a big improvement.

That front bumper without a color line in the bottom, with the “too much” going on and weird angles, the front grill and and the rear -totally unoriginal- tail lights are just mediocre (and already out dated).
I am being diplomatic in here...

Yep keeping my F80. I'm sure the ///M will look better than this but I just can't handle the new nose. No matter what they do with widening the body and flaring the fenders that nose will always drive me crazy. The rear for me is fine, I like the lights and the way the trunk sits. Car looks great at the rear 3/4 angle. Just that kidney grille doesn't fit.

I dunno, I defy you to tell me that this isn't a Kia or a Toyota or something low rent like that.

There's nothing purposeful about anything going on here at all.

Makes the F30 look dated too IMO. The G30 looked dated the day it was unveiled. If you told me the G30 was the 6th generation 5er and debuted in 2009 or 2010, I would believe you.

The G20 looks too plain on the sides. I am starting to see the Lexus comparisons unfortunately.
Oh don't get me wrong, I preffer the exterior of the G30, but the interior is really alot better in the G20, sure materials are better in the G30 but if you spec the G20 the right way it's just better. The G30 feels like the X3, it was designed back when BMW though they could just evolve the F30's design language...the G20's interior is a clear step above. The exterior...not so much!

Now it would be interesting to see a comparison to the e39 5 series. Same size, right?

Ugh. Non M Sport is horrid. Really don't like the T shaped things in the bumpers. And also still not liking the grille or headlights. Hope the driving dynamics are significantly better...

I have a G30, but I think G20 looks better. Especially from the front. They both look great though.

The T shaped contraptions remind me too much of the Accord Coupe. Can't unsee this now.

But that doesn't have two built-in ice scrapers. How are you gonna get the ice off.

I'll beat this dead horse until BMW gets it....the taillights are way too close to a Lexus. Additionally, the grille details on the M340i displayed at the LA Auto Show are so overdone, fussy and unnecessary. Please stop.

The overall proportions of the G20 are very very nice, if I could order a new 330i MSport with a manual transmission, this would be my new daily driver as my E90 is about to go to my kids. Otherwise, it's a 6-speed manual Dodge Challenger 392 Widebody or E63 for me.
