Lets get it started down under..
Back in the BMW forums after a seven year hiatus playing around with other brands..
Currently driving a 2018 Range Rover Velar but have decided to exit this very early. Previous to the RR I had a C250d AMG line that I loved and which replaced my 2012 F30 320d. Now that I have the whole SUV need out of my system, I started looking at sedans again and then I saw the new 3 Series.. have to say I am in love.. I am yet to drive one but looks to be leap years in front of the new F30 I had. Who in Australia has had any experience with buying a G20 already. what did you buy, option etc. I am seriously considering the G20 330i M Sport. The level of standard spec is astounding.

Ordered a G20 330i M-sport back in Feb and expecting delivery in May. Car is currently sitting in dock awaiting to be shipped.
Dravit Grey with mocha interior. Individual dark chrome grille and wheel. Visibility package (laser light, metallic paint, sunroof, ambient light), comfort package (lumbar support, heated seats, automatic boot lid) and HK sound system. Finally test-drove the car at the dealer this week (not that it would change anything for me). Really impressed with the technology on board, the ride on suburban road is good in comfort despite 19s and RFT, and more than enough power for everyday motoring. Can't comment much on handling as it was a short drive in inner city traffic. The only negative comment I would say is that interior material quality is not as good as the current MB C-class - mainly a little more hard plastics lower down in the doors, B-pillars etc. |

Upgrading from a '15 428i M-Sport to a G20 330i M-Sport in portimao blue.
Drove one the other day at the dealership, quite impressed compared to the 4 and level of tech is quite outstanding really, especially with what is now provided as standard equipment. Apparently it has docked after spending some time in quarrantine and hopefully should see delivery in the next couple of weeks! |

Apparently there is now a ‘campaign hold’ on all g20’s that are scheduled for delivery? Anyone else heard this for their delivery? Apparently no eta.

Funnily enough, I didn't actually order them. They made a mistake and delivered it with the black and asked me if I wanted to change them back, I clearly said no because it looks amazing haha!

so the 20 inch M sport wheels are about 7 grand from the dealer....
will look at BBS wheels. got quoted 1048 a wheel for BBS C-R's which are a 20x9. only problem is we have run flats and no spare wheel in this country. Think i'll just go to a Michelin pilot PS4S and put a goo kit in the boot. is anyone looking at any of the M sport add ons? parts are a lot cheaper in the USA though you've got to get it here yourself. |

cheapest ive found so far is getbmwparts.com, but they dont ship outside of america so you have to organise it yourself.
ive got the black front grille coming as mine came with the chrome one which isnt my fav. the other M parts on there are reasonably priced. I may get the side skirts/ rear valence/front lip as well |

Fantastic! All the best with the new motor!
After an excellent test drive I placed my order and am expecting to take delivery in a few days time. Is that the standard as supplied Portimao Blue paint job sparkling in the Aussie sunlight? |
