I'm looking at either of these at the moment:

Cash Drive off : 0
Monthly payment : 635 over 36 months

Cash drive off : 2977 (taxes + fees + first month payment)
Monthly payment : 550 over 36 months.
I wonder did you confirm the lease terms with the dealership like miles per year? If everything is correct, then you may want to find out why the discrepancy between the lease calculator values to what the dealership is offering.

Turns out the dealer was quoting me the figures with a drive off of 0$ where as the calculator assumes a drive off of around 3k(taxes + fees paid upfront). That was the disconnect. With everything at 0 up front, the numbers matched and the dealer threw in an additional 500$ towards the rebate. Trying to negotiate a little more to hit my magic number in order to pull the trigger.

Lease terms are 3 years, 10k miles a year.

He throws in another $500 off and you're still not sure? FFS what's your magic number? At 18% off I'm pretty sure this is the largest discount we've seen. Sounds like you're more interested in the deal than the car itself.

It’s close. I’ve seen competitive deals for this car for slightly higher MSRP than this one and more miles (12k vs 10k) but yes I agree it’s a pretty solid offer everything considered.

That's more than a solid deal, quite frankly the best deal I've heard of thus far. And I'm from L.A , supposedly the hottest market and best quotes over here. I would hop on that deal no question Brodie. There will always be better numbers a few months from now, but that applies to anything you buy these days. I mean you can buy a HDTV for let's say $1500 today, and that same TV will be $1000 a few months from now. You gotta draw a line somewhere and just enjoy life in the moment. GL and post photos if you decide to pull the trigger.

Yup. That's what car buying has become today. The car is just a car, I just want the best deal to say I got the best deal. No matter how much discount a dealership is willing to give, the customer wants just a little more.

I enjoy negotiations. Part of the fun of owning a car. I lease a lot, and going in I have a set number and someone needs to get there.

The downside is, when you shop around, a lot of people try and earn your business and a CA will lose out. Yesterday when I signed I felt bad for the CAs I worked with, but thankful my local dealer stepped up to the plate

I did get some very aggressive numbers out of ATL and Houston

There's negotiating and then there is just being petty. This is not directed at anyone specific but just above, the dealership is ready to give 18% plus another $500 but there's something still to think about and you are still looking for more discount? I'm all for negotiating but there's a certain point where you just take the deal.

If I were the salesperson, I would make the prospective client "earn" every discount and incentive they are potentially asking for. Everyone knows what the vehicle cost is so if a client is asking for more I would give them the 6 or 7% of the vehicle gross and then I would ask them where they are getting their numbers and have them calculate their payment and saying "because someone on the forum told me or got the same deal" is not valid.

100% agree. I was given a quote that was $10 more a month then I set my number at. I knew what type of deal they were offering and I accepted. I knew that if I said no, and started walking they would go down a little... but come on.. we drive a bmw, let alone a M340i

Lease Fees: First Month: $459.52

Down payment: $12K

Dealer Fee: $695.

This is scariest deal I've received. Total out the door: $15848

12K down on a lease sounds like a terrible idea, if anything happens to the care you lose out on 12k!

It's $900 dollars a month without anything down. And all the BMW dealers in the stupid tri-state area don't want to comply.

That's gotta be one of the worst deals I've seen. The dealer is definitely laughing on their way to the bank.

You should try branching out a bit further. Some dealers in NJ, MA or NH seem to have good reputations on these forums...might be worth the day trip.

Yeah well that's with 0% discount. I'll push the issue with the discount tomorrow on them (BMW of Bridgeport CT) and then I contacted BMW of Sudbury this evening and I'll get a email in the morning.

M340i xDrive

MSRP $65,820
Sale price $56820 (BMW money $4500, dealer money $4500)

With 2.99% for 60 months.

I was solicited by the dealer. At first the offer was for a car from inventory. They have two in stock that I was not interested in. Their response was same deal for a new build. The only thing I asked for was the 2.99%. Original offer was 3.99%.

Located in S/E PA.

Call the discount incentive, dealer contribution whatever. $ 9k off. Also additional BMWCC $500.00 😁
