M340i ZTK spare
As you might now, the M340i cars optioned with ZTK do not come with the space saver spare, as the 18" donut that comes with the lesser G20s does not fit over the larger brakes that come with the ZTK package. Well, guess what: Audi makes a 19" spare in the same 5x112mm bolt pattern with the same 66.6mm bore diameter, with the correct rolling diameter. This is the A4/S4/A5 spare, 125x70R19 tire on a 19x4" wheel. It bolts right up, fits over the brakes, but touches the front of the fat caliper. A 15mm spacer to the rescue! Problem solved.
And you don't lose a lot of usable trunk space either, as you can actually fit stuff like grocery bags inside the spare, lol... |

Also - what do you think is the widest tire to fit on the front?
can we use square set up with 255? or will it hit at full lock? maybe 245 max. It will help for the winter package as well |

These are the spacers I got:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-Of-15m...53.m2749.l2649 Hubcentric, comes with the correct length bolts, everything seems to be of decent quality. Yes looks like square 255 setup is possible. I actually tried test fitting one rear wheel up front, and it touches the strut as is. With the same 15mm spacer, it bots on fine, with around 9mm of strut clearance measured at the closest point with the car jacked up. With the car dropped to the ground, I'd say it sticks out a little bit too much. Doesn't appear to be rubbing anywhere at full lock. I didn't drive around like this though. This is a 19x8.5 ET40 wheel, so a 15mm spacer effectively makes it ET25. I think ET30 (or a 10mm spacer) would be ideal. But you never know till you try... |

Great info. Thank you. got the spacers as well.
I have regular scissor jack i drive around and a tire plug kit. What jack are you using? As for tires and wheels- I,m thinking of Toyo tires for track PROXES R888R - SIZE: 245/35ZR19 - which i think will fit just fine even on stock rims But I would like to find a set of wheels that are not too expensive (300 a piece max) and i can use them for winters as well. I used Apex wheels on my M3 but they do not have 5x112 yet. Also what have you done to cover the radiator? I have bought the mesh from Lowes and was able to fabricate the cover. |

https://www.autozone.com/engine-and-...ack/410338_0_0 Inexpensive and works. Makes swapping wheels in your garage a breeze and is light enough to take it to track events. OEM BMW toolkit with a scissor jack in the trunk. Yep I'm going to be needing 2 sets of wheels myself: one for the track, one for the winter. Researching the available wheel options in 19x8" and 19x8.5" right now. To be continued... Haven't done anything about the radiator, actually... Could you share more details on your cover? |

No - it is bare. I had to manufacture my own shield since IND does not have one.

Thanks.
What were they thinking in BMW? Chances of being hit by some rock are greater than not being hit ![]()

Hi! I think the 19 inch wheel barely fit the 374mm rotor. I think it is dangerous. If small rock and debrib get caught in there, it will scratch the wheel. And it does not look good. I think 374mm needs 20 inch wheel like G30's.
Also I saw you posted pic on another thread. These 2 photos both are your car, the same brake rotor? It seems the first rotor is smaller than the second one. The second one barely fit.. |

M Sport brakes on F30 have 370 mm front rotors and they work just fine with 18" wheels.

This is the picture of EU M340i xDrive with M Technology Package (33T).
It seems like the oil cooler is well protected. ![]() https://www.g20-forum.de/index.php?t...3550#post13550

I went this route for a spare tire and found out that Audi wheels need ball seat lug bolts, BMW wheels and bolts are conical seat. M14x1.25 ball seat lug bolts long enough to work with 15mm spacers are impossible to find so you'll likely need conical -> ball seat adapters to run this safely. I haven't driven on the spare and I hope I never have to but I'll be buying some adapters from ECS just in case.

I too have the ZTK package.
I'm wondering if a space saver for the G20 M3 would fit my G20 M340i? The link below says it's a 19" wheel (where the M340i specified space saver says 18" from this company). I assume the offset might be a little different but would that matter on a space saver? Thank you all, from a long time viewer, first time poster James https://braumachspare.com.au/product...c4c6731f&_ss=r |

I purchased a spare for my 23 M340i with the staggered wheels and high performance brakes and cooling. It fits perfectly.
