The lower bumper looks like the M2 why would bmw copy their own lower model car from 5 years ago? Ive always hated the fangs from the M2, this is just that plus a bad copy of the audi grill merged. I dont have a problem with bmw ruining the M3 with this design, its just that the design is going to permeate through the bmw line starting with M3.
Or maybe bmw is trolling us and it will have a normal grill just like M340i. Sure hope its the latter |

It's just going to be so hard for the designers to do better than the F8x in my opinion. I think they're some of the most beautiful cars BMW has ever designed, and I wouldn't pretend to know of any way to improve on them really. The M3/M4 are just perfect from nearly ever angle, they didn't get a thing wrong on either car (ok maybe leaving off the hips from the M4 but that's IT).

Yeah, sometimes the real thing can look a bit different in the flesh vs photo stock. But I do give BMW credit for finally trying to differentiate the M line from the rest which has seemed to have a blending over the last few years. In any event I would still like to see smaller grills at least.
