The showrooms are largely empty now, so whining won't help.

I've noticed the difference in tailpipes in a few of the photos. If the tailpipes that are similar to the concept car are slated for production (...pictured in a few of the photos), the rear end will look aesthetically buttoned in. If it's those silly circular tailpipes it's going to take away from the overall look of the rear.

The overall silhouette of the car looks good, and I like that the rear seats of the G22 are similar to what we have currently in the F8X.

Interior wise the dash and gear shifter part looks almost the same as any other model which is sad

Interior.

So the dash is no surprise, BMW excellence there.

All about the rear seat design, looks to be loads of leg room, as usual lots more than the bigger 6 series or 8 series. Integrated rear headrests, good good. Is there a seat belt butler, cant make it out from the image?

The exhaust tips you are referring to, which aren't round and vaguely resemble those of the Concept 4, are logically only going to be mounted on the M440i / M440d, as is the case with the M340i / M340d

Meaning double round exhaust tips on all other 4er versions (bar M4 of course).

Oh look it's the same as the 3er, well that's a surprise...NOT.

The 4er dashboard was revealed when the 3er was launched...

I personally prefer the functional round pipes over any other form. In fact, should you look in to any other shaped exhaust you'll either find round pipes inside them (as with f.e. BMW) or them to be completely fake (as with f.e. Audi). It is a fad I wish would disappear. I guess the hexagonal pipes look more futuristic/modern though.

I'm liking the interior. Not a big difference to other models, but it never is. I think we all agree on it being a vast improvement over the predecessor.

The fake pipe trend needs to die as soon as possible!

yeah the interior looks like the 3er, we knew it would, but is it just me, or the lighting, but the instrument cluster looks much brighter than what I've seen from BMW?

I mean can't the size of something on the inside match the size of the grilles. Like a "does the carpet match the drapes" kinda thing?

Guess it will just be the exteriors that differentiates the 4 from the 3. Besides the obvious door count.

I mean usually these are exactly the same....

I'm not the biggest fan of their semi circle dash design.

At least it's not as "unique" as the front 🤪

There's no light! Automatics are to driving what vibrators are to sex. The automatic/DCT will do all of the work for you (...and better than you in all but the most rare circumstances), like a vibrator, but nothing beats putting in the work and getting the action done yourself. It's an entirely more rewarding experience.

If you've sat in the new G20 3 series, you'll know that it's a nice place to be, but I do wish BMW made the new 4 series' interior just a little bit more different than the 3 series just to help differentiate the models a little more
