I have the MPE on my F30335i and I absolutely love it. It vibrates the whole car on downshifts in sport mode.

Sounds good, but a real sport exhaust tip should be round! I don't know who started the trend of boxing the exhaust tip in a plastic rhombus shape, looks good on a Hyundai (or Audi with a fake exhaust) , not for a real sport car. Looks cheesy on m850 or m340 here.
I stick with old fashioned look like which we still have on m cars.
Just My humble opinion

Here the example of mperformance on my previous m6gc

Sounds like the 440 with the MPPSK, hopefully they will released the full kit with extra power.

i guess yes, because it is called a m performance modell. it has also performance letters on the engine cover.
even real m cars don't have that "m performance letter" on their stock exhaust...so i guess the letter really means they are different from the stock one

thats exactly what i was thinking too. we had the mpe or mppsk. but they sounded different and mppsk had increase in kw for the 3 and 440s

so in m340i, it's just MPE as the car has 285kw already, which is more than what we get on 440i post mppsk?

I noticed on they are now showing more items on the parts catalog today. They show a performance bumper upgrade that appears to show round exhaust tips that appear to match what the M Performance exhaust tips look like on other vehicles. Guessing its just a matter of time till the full exhaust listed on here with tips?

I think that's just a pic of the 330i rear showcasing an example

Ahh makes sense, I would like to see what it actually looks like on the M340i. Would be nice if it changed it to have a cutout for rounded tips like in the picture.

This sounds like every Mperformance exhaust for any 335 since 07....only thing now is those tips are absolutely trash!

So this link is the MPE or the EU version of the regular exhaust:

https://www.bmwpartspros.com/oem-par...b3J5IFBhZ2U%3D

It's odd but I cannot find any other place that sells the MPE for the M340i. Not even BMWs website...

That is supposedly the M Performance part. No idea what pricing/part number are for the standard US exhaust.
Standard EU exhaust has particulate filters in it.

Haha. I agree. I just had the mppsk added to my 2018 and not only is the sound great, the new larger tips look really cool. The only mistake I may have made is I got the stainless steel ones instead of the carbon fiber ones. With my car being all silver and black, the black ones might look better. I will probably fix that at a later date. Good look on your car, thanks for the pic.

Anyone install this at the dealer and know how long it takes and what they charge for the labor?

I had the dealer install mine. Not sure of the exact time but it was done during the day. Dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the evening.

I will have to check on labor costs. I was buying another BMW and asked since they wouldn't go any lower on the car if I could get a discount on the MPPSK; they said yes.

this shouldn't take more than 30 mins to install at any reputable muffler shop. The hangers are exactly the same and the valve is plug and play. The two forward pipes are likely clamped or could be welded - either way wouldn't take more than 10 mins for that. The rear section falls into place once the new muffler is on it's hangers and you really don't have to worry about rear tip alignment because there are none :-)

All in all 30 mins +/- 10 mins

**EDIT**
Just went back and looked at the picture - it's clamped on in the front so no reason this install would take more than 30 mins

Thanks RTPenland!

With that said, is there any warranty concern if I go to muffler shop for install instead of using BMw?
