I don’t understand why people freak out. This will be super easy to fix with aftermarket CF grills.

these are already on the road. Seen several x7 and 7 series. Both look awful. The new bmw design is for sure the worst amongst competitors. Even the new genesis g70 looks better than the new 4 series grill.

These look much better

This one in the picture are the DLRs for the laser lights, the other ones are the standard LEDs...same withe the current 3 series..

So if you want to have the „nice" DLR, you have to choose the optional laser light

I think the complete opposite. The latest BMW designs makes you really appreciate their older cars where design is proportionate, coherent and cohesive... pretty, in other words

I parked next to a new LCI 7 series recently. The front end is frankly hideous, with the comically large grilles.

Beside the grill thing, the front would look sharp when the hood line would just flow with the beginning of the grille, as it does on the 4 series concept. This high mounted hood line kills the whole design and mixed with the grille, half-covered by the license plate, the whole design is even worse. BMW what are you thinking?

Exactly...so now if you still want some typical BMW iconic elements, it's not enough to buy a BMW, you have to spend even more $$$ on options

Well, I guess I'll stick with the CS until the next release = H80.. Hopefully by then they realize to fix that hideous grill. Sorry for those who "have hopes" on G8X, this is just my own thoughts out loud. So far, very sad to see this deterioration....

They seem to be going back to the old big grill design..
