Sounds like it man. I mean it doesn't hurt to ask your CA what happens if you change your mind about color. They may even have something close to your build and color preference en route or on the lot. Worst case you just keep your original build.

I'm starting to regret the Portimao blue, since BMW marketed that color, means it will be everywhere soon! Even the 330i with Msport package... should have went Dravit Grey!!

I should have went with my original Dravit color plan but afraid it will be a nightmare to match paint if there's an accident. Mineral Gray looks good too but it's a common color on the road.

I debated and debated and decided to go with 792M non-rft with the spare. Getting real summer performance tires from the factory is worth it otherwise I would end up buying aftermarket. To me the trunk is huge and losing 4.5" of height from the spare doesn't make any difference for 99% of use and having a spare is nice. If I need the height for some reason I'll take it out but I bet that will virtually never happen as we also have an SQ5.
I really like the 791M but with all the cerium grey pieces I think 792s fit the car a little better (unless you are blacking out all trim) and they are more sporty. 791s will be easier to clean and are more stylish except for the all black option which is yuck IMO. |

See posts 136-138 for with and without the spare.
https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1555055&page=7 I've seen both in person, and it really eats into the trunk volume. |

Contrast, my ray's setup, if you check my album, front is 42lbs per wheel. An easy shave of 15-20 lbs vs OEM wheels at 60+ lbs. Ray's are stronger (strongest in the world), lighter and CHEAPER than BMW OEM! sure, they also make HRE BBS wheels above 18", repackaged as 300-400% price increase for Porsche etc, but, from the factory, through suppliers, at 3500$ USD for 9.5 and 10" wheels, it is insane. Once I added 3D CCBs, shaving off 30 lbs front axle alone, plus Rays, so another 30, that was 60 lbs shaved off front axle alone, unsprung weight. From DD to track, the difference was mind blowing (in the 0.3 second range) without touching the engine. Reason why Ray's does it for everyone above 18" is their owning the world only 10,000 ton monoblock forging press. Major sports brands, e.g. Porsche, AM, anyone making custom 19 20 +" ultralight strong wheels, go to Rays. Trivia info but yes, Ray's also supplied F1 teams. Another benefit is that, 4th summer on Ray's the last trueness check, laser, revealed zero bend, but some damage to the Michelins PS4S after a highway sectional cut. The first 3 summers on my F30, I took in some 5 times my BMW M perf wheels, two separate sets, for straightening... |

You lack the tools to improve the world, as narcissism impedes your cognitive abilities. My reply actually answered a point, had an argumentative structure. Your reply entering in a third party conversation, served merely to self soothe your innate desire and paltry attempt to berate and to establish dominance. Stuff goes back to childhood. Of course you failed, at least my daughters kicks and shakes when seeking treats. Of course you never heard of ad hominem, personalized rebuttals and other failures in critical thinking that your replies convey. But hey, finishing high-school is not a prerequisite for success, so we should never judge.. |
