Well done. Mine hasn't progressed with Pixcar. Not sure whats going on. They did have three car transports dock at the same time, so might be a large volume going through process.

My dealer has requested a special clearance with BMW Logistics. So hopefully this week but maybe early next week.

Aargh, yes I am just very happy the ship made it this far, now we have to worry about the truck taking our car to the dealership and that all is ok.
Exciting times , I just bought a USB key , copied some music and tested it in a rental they gave me, so getting prepared now
I think I am going to go with the BMW/Allianz insurance , the MB insurance was just too expensive even if there was a 4 year car replacement policy
BMW gives you 3 years, so depending on the quote it's between them and NRMA.Also must buy a USB-A to USB-C cable to check if the charging works from car to Ipad
All the best of luck BATURBO !! , hope all go's smoothly.

I was tempted to go with them too. They weren't as outrageous as I expected. But I ended up going $500 cheaper with GIO.
And hope I not live to regret this decision!

Hahhaaha, yes I showed that to my brother.

I am hoping the quality control has improved !!

I wanted the M Sport symbol , like in the 340ix , but apparently you need to order the whole 340ix badge and it will take 3 months at $123, so will put a hold on that.

Ah ok , yes once you add windscreen, rental car , named driver option and reduce the excess to a reasonable amount the costs mount up !!!
Ah well guess you can change each year if you are unhappy.

I put a holding deposit down on one 'on a boat' last week and I'm told that it should be ready to collect next week on the 9/6.

Build is 18/3 and based on calculations and how long it usually takes in customs it probably should have just arrived in Australia.

Does this seem realistic? Dealer is getting me the boat and VIN, but if it has not arrived in the country yet it seems like 9/6 does not seem very realistic.

If you were quoted $200 for the boot mat thats very cheap.

So prices were.

Boot mat $300
Front mats $165
Rear mats $109
------------------
Total Price $574
------------------
You convinced me to get these. I picked up the mats today, the special boot mat is a few weeks away.

Speaking of, had to drive in Melbourne's rain for a bit ( to pick up said mats, in fact). Half an hour after getting home, the car was dry and looked clean. Never had ceramic coating before, so impressed now!

Think of it as rubber mats for the outside.

And if you’re like me, you’ll think since I’m doing this, might as well get the wheels done. Maybe the windscreen. Why not some treatment for the seats. Tinted windows would look good and give extra protection to the interior...next thing you know it’s 2k.

Hi All
Just a quick question.
I was wondering do BMW supply you by default a security lock nut for each wheel of your car , apparently they do and give you the special key for the bolts in the boot.
I asked the BMW parts guy and he said yes, can anybody have a look for me to see if this is true, they are $150 for 4 bolts as a spare part set, so just wondering if I should get these.
Don't want my mags/wheels stolen
If you look at one of your wheels one of the bolts should be different from the rest apparently
Thanks
