I am still below 1K on breaking in my 2020 M340i xDrive. I have had from 27 mixed to over 32 MPG of mostly highway driving. I use Eco Pro when cruising and have a little fun in town with sport+. Everyone looks up when I am in sport+!!
I traded an X3 M40i and I am mostly glad that I did.The M340i is quite a bit faster and better mileage.

Can anyone better this?
Ended up with 760 then first fuel light came on so filled up. Average speed of 140km/h

Last 60 was city driving.

A recent journey with my 330i. An incredible 4,9 l/100km!
That’s 48 MPG (US),

How many people claiming these fuel economy figures are just going by what the OBC says? My F30 318i is extremely inaccurate, and is always around 4-5 mpg optimistic when I compare my figures after brimming the tank. My X5 is usually pretty close.

For my 330ix I'm getting ~30mpg on eco-pro. Combination city(~40%)/highway(~60%). I like seeing 502 miles for range after fill up

It looks like you had a road downhill - 19km just rolling, anyways consumption numbers are great!

I had a trip yesterday on my 330i rwd and it was 5.1 L/100km
I've started in the city with Comfort mode. I think driving 100-110 km/h on a motorway in eco mode will show number around 5 L/100km

BTW I'm using the best fuel I can find near my home GoEasy 98 Extra

My 330i Xdrive has averaged 26 mpg since 4/2019 but 80% of my driving is around town and I also drive mostly in sport and push the car pretty hard when ever possible. So I think this is the low end of the spectrum of what's possible with this car

That's interesting, my F30 335i is dead on accurate if not a touch conservative. When I first bought the car I tracked in fully for 6 months and compared with the onboard. The car was basically dead on or .1 or .2mpg low every time. So after dozens of fill ups I just decided the onboard was the way to go.

Highest I have ever gotten on my RWD M340i is low 20's on a 300 mile road-trip. I average mid to high teens. Always astonished to see the rather high MPG people claim here.

Then again, it could be my driving style because I went for a drive the other day and noticed I was basically either at red-line or bouncing off the limiter which may explain my numbers. It's all good though, I didn't get this car to drive it like grandma.

I'm getting 25 in the city in comfort mode most of the time though have to hit sport at certain times. And 40 on the highway averaging 80mph in comfort. Not a big fan of eco mode though i know that would help on highway.

I drive in sports + 90% of the time and am averaging around 23mpg in my M340. My commute is on the highway and w Covid traffic has been pretty much non existent. Would usually be sitting in stop and go traffic for my commute so I'm sure that # will go down when more ppl return to the office again

I have experience of lots of different cars from MB, BMW and Audi, and BMW are definitely the manufacturer with the most accurate on-board computers. So your experience is certainly not unusual. It's good to know that my 318i is an anomaly.

Came back from a long trip around Germany - 3800 km total driving. German autobahns are great! Usually speed was around 130-150 km/h with up to 200 km/h. Average consumptions is 6.6l (which is around 35 mpg US). Great car with great consumption!

Could anyone here speak to the accuracy of the onboard computer versus real life (measured at the pump) for the G20 (both 330i and M340i)? My old 335i was dead-on accurate, but I know others have said that previous models weren't nearly so accurate. My current non-BMW is grossly optimistic compared to actual fuel consumption.

My 2019 330i has 12000km and with 80% city/urban and 20% highway driving I have achieved 10.8l/100km, which sounds pretty awful, considering I usually don't push the engine.
