Years ago when I worked at a car dealership one of my customers went to Germany and brought back a bunch of plates. He gave it to me along with a euro plate frame from a Bmw dealer in German for my old e36 m3.

Here ya go. Nothing fancy since it's in our family room (open area) just to provide something more than a dainty soundbar can. But after powering it up, I must say that I am VERY impressed of the sound quality for the price! Definitely exceeded my expectations.

Decided to try a sound bar (Sonos Beam) for the TV in our vacation condo. I wanted something simple that is a step up vs. just having TV sound. It has a subwoofer and surround speaker that can be added later but for now, I just got the sound bar.

It was easy set up and think TV sounds ok, not great. Steaming music from phone sounds less impressive. Will use this week as a test period to decide whether to return, keep as is or buy the subwoofer and surround speakers.

I am not super knowledgeable about Soundbars but I do know they are extremely popular. Especially the Sonos brand like you have.
I will however suggest you consider the Yamaha YAS-209. It has many great reviews, comes with a wireless Sub and is slightly less than the Sonos.

We've got pretty much every Sonos product (1,3,5,move beam, playbar, arc) through our house and the Beam (3 of them) is the one I'm least fond of. They're okay for grouping for whole house music but like you said, it's just okay for tv. We recently upgraded our Playbar surround on our main tv to the new Arc and used the existing sub and 1's . As good as I thought it was before, it's that much better now. If it's your main tv, I'd just go full on Arc surround system and be done with it, if you plan on sticking with Sonos for its ease.

My pool uses popups instead of the usual roving cleaner. And it isn't working with the heavier debris blowing into the pool during overseeing of the course and wind storms. So, I bought a robot cleaner. Not here yet but hoping it cleans up the heavier stuff.

Good feedback, thanks.

I was thinking about the Arc too but aside from price, the other thing that pushed me to the Beam was availability. The Arc was out of stock a couple of places I checked (including Amazon) and being a vacation place, we aren’t here that much so was looking for “overall simple“ inclusive of procurement.

Jury still out on the Beam. We have only the Beam bar with no surround or sub. While it is the main (actually only right now) TV, we don’t plan to watch tons of TV here once the pandemic passes. We have only one more trip here planned for 2020. I might stick with it and repurpose it later to bedroom or bring home to FL for home office if we get something else.

Good plan. All of our beams are attached to bedroom TVs for tv/music but I wouldn't waste money hooking them up with sub/surround because they'll always be okay and not great.
I've got to say that the Move is so good that I've now bought 3 of them for different outdoor spaces.
