The first time I called today it said it was dispatched from the factory A few hours later it said it was in quality check This was not the first time the 800 number gave me information that was incorrect. Go figure.
So now the app says mines at "production begins" so unless they started over or went backwards it's not very accurate since as of yesterday it was in quality check. lol!!!

Perhaps yours failed QC and they had to start over?

I decided to check the status of my 2021 330e and to my surprise, it is showing that the production has begun!

My order was submitted by the Seattle's dealership on July 29. I was told that the average production time is about a week. Is that consistent with what folks have been experiencing lately?

Once it goes " entering exterior assembly line" it's about a 3-4 days to finish, from "entering production" to "ready for transport" was about 2 1/2 weeks

I've cancelled my car sitting at the port in Germany. They can keep it. Tanzanite and German built would have been nice but at this point I don't want it anymore. Who knows what's wrong with it?
Bought a '20 M340i in Mineral Grey off the lot today. What a stunning color in person. Won't miss the blue at all.
Also glad I got a button to turn auto start/stop off.

Hey, new to the forum - but looking to order the exact same setup you have - can you post a few more pics of the front lip and the rear spoiler? Also did you PPF the entire car or just the front? Really like how yours came out!!!

Thanks!

Mine has been "Ready for Transport" for a week now. Hoping I can get behind the wheel by the end of the month, or the first week of October, the latest.

Same here. The status of my Mexico build turned to "Ready for transport" on the first day of September. No idea how long it's gonna sit there

So we're in the same boat. Separated by a day. Mine is also a Mexico build. Hopefully we see an update soon. This has been a very long process.

A big group of us recently were changed from ready for transport to in transit for mexico builds. The average wait time for all of us was around 2-3 weeks unfortunately. hope its sooner for you guys!

Found out it actually did fail QC and they did start over! lol!!! Better to find it there than after I get it. So a couple extra weeks to wait for me. 😏

Yup...If our car ships before the mid of this month then there's a chance we could take delivery at the end of September.

Taking delivery for this month especially for those who are still waiting for the car to be shipped is highly unlikely. Mostly due to dealers filling up "delivery capacity", my car arrives at my location on the 18th I wouldn't be surprised if the dealer tells me I'm scheduled for October 1st

Does anyone know how long it will take for a car to get from the Mexico plant to New Jersey? I assume it's quicker than a car coming from Germany?

For those awaiting delivery, also keep in mind any port installed options will slow down your delivery even further. I've been told the VPC is very behind in installing port options; I've heard at least one car being delayed over 4 weeks at the port because of port option install.
