Great job ordering the Fjord blue! It looks great in your photos. I was worried it was too royal blue. I imagine the take rate for Fjord will remain low and it will be a rare sight.

Must mean they don't have laser lights. I'm okay with Bmw offering laser for a premium, but the adaptive LEDs should have had the full DRL at least

I have a pal who can't understand why I don't go out and buy a Taycan or something (I could afford to) but I'm pretty sensible when it comes to cars. They are much more than a basic appliance in terms of what I expect from it, but I'd never sink much more than what my 3er cost into a car. That's just me however. And for what it's worth, cars cost a boat load more here than across the pond and cars over there tend to have more basic equipment too. I see you're in Denmark so you get it! Example... a tricked out 340i in the US will run about $70k whereas over there it'll run closer to e90 in euros in Ireland. Anyways. Other than the aesthetic, laserlights don't really motivate me to spend two grand on them! Last edited by VictorRomeo; 09-15-2020 at 03:07 AM.. |

It feels like we've not had a sunny day since early May over here.... Even the heatwave that the Brits basked in passed us by. We've had violent storms, floods, hail the size of marbles and very little sunshine.... And no chance to fly somewhere sunny for a few weeks either |

I've been wondering about blue and black interiors, as I have a X7 Dark Shadow limited edition production slot reserved, and I'm still not sold on the interior. How do BMW blue leather seats hold up over time? Here's the Dark Shadow X7 interior.

https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1747332 I LOVE the night blue leather. I saw it in an 850 and it's lovely. A lot darker than mine and in that Dark Shadow edition it will make for a stunning combo. |

Very nice, hope you enjoy many miles ahead!
Out of interest, does anyone know how much of a difference there is in Tanzanite Blue (from F80/82 cars) to this new Tanzanite II? |

Very Unique. Not a fan of the blue interior unfortunately. To each there own!

The new Tanzanite Blue II is absolutely stunning. It's something you really have to see in person, to appreciate how rich the color is.
Thanks for the thoughts on how Merino leather holds up over time. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with how specifically the blue leather looks as it ages. Black ages very well. White can do ok, but can appear dingy as time goes on. Maroon leather can look very sharp the beginning, but to me looks dated as the car and leather age. Here's an older BMW with Amarone/maroon. How about blue? |

As far as blue Merino, I don't have a lot of it but overall has held up quite well on my 2016 F31. Merino holds up quite well as long as you treat it at least once a year. Here's my 2011 X5 with Napa and it's held up quite well overall. It's due for a steam clean though. Driver's side bolster: Sorry to go off topic OP. Just that for many years you hear people say stay away from the nicer and more supple leather because they don't hold up. That simply isn't true. Back to topic. I've seen Tanzanite in person on a bright sunny day and it's gorgeous in the sun. What's different about Tanzanite II??
