what is dealer capacity?
Not sure it would depend on dealer size and location and capacity rules in the state

Wow that's nuts, I'm definitely not taking delivery this month I have the MPE as a port install... man I might even have to wait until November 😢

I really hope that 4 week wait was an outlier. I've got my fingers crossed for you. Keep us posted!

This ordering process as been a roller coaster, going on 5 months what's another 4 weeks lol the benefit of waiting so long is that I get to see if the incentives for leasing gets better. Will do and I can't wait to give my take on the MPE vs the AMG PE on c43

My dads M340i hit the dock and was at the dealer in PA in ~4 days (just a couple of weeks ago). So, I'm expecting my car to show up ~Sept 23rd at the dealer. I'm going to hold off a week to see if Oct 1 brings any better programs.

If I don't (and won't) qualify for loyalty or conquest rebates, are there any other factory incentives that might come along? Lower APR on loans?

Although I expect Q4 might generally be better for incentives, I'm just having a hard time imagining that they're going to become more aggressive on a new model year vehicle that is already in short supply on dealer lots.

"lease credit" would be a welcome change, which you'd be eligible for. The MF is already pretty damn low, besides +1% on the residual, the only other thing one can hope for is some lease credit.

Why don't you think you would qualify for conquest (if they add a conquest rebate)? There are usually no restrictions on what type of vehicle you need in the household. If you have a car currently, or had one in the last 12 months, you will get conquest, if it exists.

I think the biggest incentive we all hope for is lease/finance cash. The residual right now isn't terrible (it could be better, but it's not awful) and the MF is one of, if not the, lowest I've ever seen from BMW. We could see some reconfiguring, too. i.e. Residual might get worse but we see added lease cash, or the like. If that helps or hurts is another question and sometimes depends on your deal.

No, you're not. I'm watching it move slowly. Not sure if it's going to be brought into Jacksonville port or will anchor at sea. Wish it would get going northward.

Edit: I see the shipper's schedule has the Grand Hero docking at Jacksonville with ETA of 9/12 and Baltimore of 9/15. Ft. Lauderdale and Brunswick weren't shown on the schedule. https://sallaumlines.us/schedule/

I have read numerous posts about tracking your vehicle. Some of the links no longer work. My question is: does BMW use any other ship line besides Wallenius and Wilhelmsen to ship their vehicles from Germany to New York? Thanks.

Mine just passed the paint booth and is now on the assembly line. I wonder, if it can get built quick enough, if it can get on the same boat as you'll be on.

Rejoice people in B'more area as the cars are being loaded off into the VPC. Depending when the boat leaves it should reach the port in NJ on the 18th-19th, the only upside for me is that my dealer is about a 15 min drive from the port

Your order is leaving Mexico? Are the M340's being built there for 2021, not Germany?

Yeah the 3 series is being built in Mexico (hence why you can't get it in dravit or tanzanite)

Correct. My original production number/slot was Germany. But was able to get that switched over to a Mexico production slot.
