M340i Aircon - Cool or Cold?
Quick poll please.
For a longish journey on a sunny day, with the vent temperature set to it's lowest, and climate set to Lo, do you get cold air out? I'm getting cool, not cold.

What happens when you set the climate temperature a bit higher, at a regulated setting? |

So 25+ degrees on a short journey was enlightening (a little)
4 miles to the shops, get out - nice and cold Leave Auxillary Ventilation on for 30 minutes Return to warm car and aircon not cold. Turn to Lo and cold vent temp - no change (as before)(getting uncomfortable) Turn on max AC - aircon goes cold Left it on max for 2 miles Max off for final two miles - nice and fresh. So maybe Max AC is colder than 'Lo + Cold...'?? Weekend trip to try next

Here in nor cal it was in 100's for a week or so about 3+ weeks ago. The AC did fine. Sure if car was out in the sun for while it would take a few mins to get cold. Many things affect the AC: of course outside temperature, has the car been sitting in the sun, has engine been off for a while, is vehicle moving, and probably more I can't think of right now. All this is assuming the AC is is working order.
Oh when it's quite hot out remember to hit the air recirculate button so you are cooling the air inside the car not the outside. Sorry if this is too basic for some,no offense meant |

Have the climate control in my F30 set at 22.5 deg however in the G20 I need to set it at 20 deg to get the same effect. The climate control in the G20 doesn't seem to work as well for some reason.
