How do you get the beta version?

What device are you coding off of? I used both my IPhone and Ipad yesterday and I just used the normal Bimmercode App , i didn't have to request the beta. Make sure the Bimmercode App is up to date, then completely close the app and open it back up again to confirm it's not still on a previous version.

Why not take it to your bmw dealer and let them fix under warranty? Or is there more to this story?

Ok, i got it working, had to turn on local network in privacy settings for the app.
Another question - does anyone have the HUD? I noticed after the update the REV indicator isn't there. I either turned something off or the updated removed it. Thoughts? |

I have coded mine with Bimmercode beta in expert mode to replace the Bronze and White and also the Green and White with Red and Blue. This will not change the displayed colours shown in the I drive screen, but will replace your strips, door bins, map light and footwell light colours and orientations as indicated below. This is my personal list which I use to re code my colours to my preference after each BMW software update. I have to code both 360A and 360D. Works fine on my UK G20 running 07/20.54 software. Code at your own risk. Coding in expert mode can damage your car. BDC module > Expert coding > 360A LicLciColorLibrary > LIC_LCI_COLOR_LIBRARY_DATA > G20G21G26G28G80_Lichtpaket_code1 (selected option) > Custom value 1. Original hex values: Byte 18 - D7 Byte 19 - 6E Byte 20 – 14 Byte 23 - D7 Byte 24 - 6E Byte 25 - 14 Byte 28 - D7 Byte 29 - 6E Byte 30 - 14 2. New hex values: Byte 18 – FF Byte 19 - 00 Byte 20 – 00 Byte 23 – FF Byte 24 - 00 Byte 25 - 00 Byte 28 – FE Byte 29 – 0A Byte 30 – 0A BDC module > Expert coding > 360D LicLciColorProfiles > LIC_LCI_COLOR_PROFILES_DATA > G20G21G26G28G80_Lichtpaket_code1 (selected option) > Custom value 1. Original hex values: Byte 2 – 01 bronze Byte 3 – 00 white Byte 16 – 04 green Byte 17 – 00 white New hex values: Byte 2 – 01 (Map Lights, Door handles, Door bins, Footwells) Now Red Colour Byte 3 – 03 (Door / Dash strips) Now Blue Colour Byte 16 – 03 (Map Lights, Door Handles, Door Bins, Footwells) Now Blue Colour Byte 17 – 01 (Door / Dash Strips) Now Red Colour Last edited by andy5468; 01-27-2021 at 11:43 AM.. |

I had exactly that issue. After the 07/2020 coding update, I had to change the 3702LicFeatures back to not activ to get my rear DRL's to operate through ID7. It was required though prior to that update. Rear DRL's can now be enabled through the standard Bimmercode coding options, rather than through expert mode. |
