This is a Dingolfing build.
My 2022 M440i X-Drive Convertible has started production:

7/16 Order placed
7/16 Scheduled for production
7/28 Production begins (VIN assigned)
8/06 Exterior body assembly begins
8/23 In the paint booth
8/24 Entering assembly line
8/24 Assembly in progress
8/24 Quality Check
8/25 Final assembly
8/25 Ready for transport
8/25 Awaiting carrier assignment
8/25 Dispatched from factory
8/26 At the port
9/15 In transit

After 3 weeks at the port, the car is on the water on the Euphony Ace, due in NYC on 9/26.
Once again, the BMW tracking feature was updated pretty quickly. I was watching the ship and know that it left port late yesterday afternoon. The status was updated first thing this morning.

Congratulations for finally being on the water....its really hard to understand the variables of the schedule....I ordered a rwd 440 convertible 3 days ahead of you, sat in Bremerhaven for 2 weeks and arrived in Charleston on 09/08 and 4merpolester got his car delivered in 2 months from order.

It sure is. There is no standard time frame.
All things considered, though, my car will be 2-3 weeks later than originally thought. It just seems longer!

Yes, congrats. My car arrived at the VPC in New Jersey on 9/2 or so and has been waiting there ever since. It apparently needs a radio module installed. The work order started on 9/3 -- still no movement. Has anyone else seen this kind of wait at the VPC?

I would have expected a week in this status, but now we're going on two weeks sitting at the VPC to get one part installed (after other delays this summer).

I have been promised that there are no holds on my car. It has the HK upgrade.

Some are waiting significantly longer......real issue getting parts.

Yes... I now see this. My delivery date went from 9/9 to now "first week of November."
