Reuse NFC Key Card

My sister has the same car as me and has a nfc key but never uses it, but my car didn't come with one. Is it possible for my sister to send me hers and I can pair it with my vehicle or can it only be paired once? Thanks

If your 3-Series has comfort access, you should have received an NFC key. If you don't have comfort access, I'd assume you cannot pair another NFC key.

If your 3-Series has comfort access, you should have received an NFC key. If you don't have comfort access, I'd assume you cannot pair another NFC key.

I got the car used so it didn't come with one I do have comfort access though

6. Can I use my smartphone as a Digital Key for multiple vehicles?

Yes, BMW Digital Key on your smartphone* can be used for multiple BMW vehicles. However, each BMW Key Card is unique to each vehicle.

Looks like you'll need to order a BMW key card from BMW directly.

Did you check inside the owner's manual pouch? Mine was hidden away in there.

Hi, just wondering whether an nfc key card purchased from eBay would be able to be linked to a G20 with comfort access that didn't come with one?
If it's been linked at any point to another car, is it rendered useless, or can it be "reset"?
