SXM - songs don't start from beginning

In my last car, (and in the wife's Durango), when I changed to a new station on Sirius XM the song would automatically start from the beginning with a button that I could press to go live if I wanted to. My G20 doesn't seem to have that option and the songs just start in the middle or wherever they are at the time. Does anyone know if it's possible to do this?

My 2021 for sure has this. It’s in the settings for radio.

Don't quote me on this (I'm not in my car to check), but I think when you're listening to Sirius, hit the "Option" button on the iDrive controller. I believe the setting is called Automatic Timeshift.

So I checked the box for auto timeshift but doesn't seem to make any difference. Songs still don't start at their beginnings.

That's odd. It works for me.

At the top right corner of the center screen there's usually a bunch of little icons. If there's one up there that shows a circle with an arrow wrapped around it, that means it is on an active. See if that is showing up for you.

Nope, no such icon. I confirmed automatic timeshift is checked. UGH
