I wanted Bronze wheels, but order was already locked. I will order Bronze Rims when the car gets closer.. still just waiting for order to be accepted. It seems Frozen and Signal Green are being later build so far.

Also White, Red calipers, and bronze wheels will be the Halo build .
Whats a halo build?

Anyone know what the extra weight saving is by adding the CCB’s?

I think it’s about 50 pounds, takes the car down to around 3,860 lbs I think.

It’s 4WD. The new M2 with RWD and the ZF weighs 3810 lbs and the m240i xdrive weighs 3871. The M5 CS weighs 4096.

I think the G80 M3 CS weight is great relative to its running gear and power.

Around 14 kg (31 lbs)... Unsprung weight.

Unsprung weight has a huge effect on any vehicle's acceleration, braking, and cornering abilities. It's even said that at a drag strip, adding a single pound of unsprung weight to a car has the same effect as adding two or more pounds to the body.

Many do not realize what a difference this makes, also the ride comfort is better (less harsh).

Not recommended for serious track usage though since replacement parts (pads and especially discs) are much more expensive.

So I’m assuming in transport mode it does not show yellow? I think yellow DRLs was one of the highlights for the CS.

Either way excited to hear about your impressions on this lovely beast!

Definitely still yellow, just not in the picture. Day time running lights are standard white colour, they turn yellow when beams are on and when you unlock the car, then back to white if daytime running lights are on

Hi!
Congrats for your new M3 CS!
As soon as possible, I would like you to tell us the behavior of the ZF8 in S3, expecially on downshift: from 3º to 2º gear do you experience a jerk if you are not breaking hard? Thanks

I assume it is a similar shifting experience to the CSL?

You won't read much from owners right now because they need to run in the car first...

Not sure when the first press cars are available, I assume after Easter maybe.
