I had service today and had already made an appointment for them to test the cooling system as I have added water 3-4 times in the year and a half I've owned the car. I told the service advisor and he said they would look at it today (the appointment lady said they don't do real work on the weekends, only service).

They ended up replacing the water pump. I don't have details as to what was wrong because it was the end of the day and he said he'd email the docs to me. I'm assuming a small seal leak since it took a long time to get low and never had overheating problems.
