Yeah. I am not an exaggerator or poor me type of person but paying 63 after taxes for the 2023 and not feeling connected to the vehicle at all has left me feeling nauseous. Looking at other peoples posts about how upset they are with id8 or how they begged the dealer to order a ‘22 with id7 instead of 8….all made me feel better

Looks matter. You don't want to walk away from the LCI which has a vastly superior front end. Those blocked-tear-ducts headlights alone are a reason to stay the course. |

You are right. But the pre seems more aggressive bumper wise. And I plan on wrapping it. Basically making it exactly how I want. I want to upgrade the turbo so I’ll be voiding warranty anyway. Carshield then. What use is the ‘23 w factory warranty if I plan to mod heavily. You have a great point tho.

$180 x 36 = $6,480 Your current car includes free servicing, your new one won't (unless you pay for it). 2 services (1yr/2yr including brakes) = $1000 There are other variables - lets say the brakes are half worn, the tires are halfworn etc. $??? You are in for way more than $4800 my friend, easily 2x that... |

The obvious question is - if you sold your car to the dealer what would you be driving before you find another car? |

Found two 2020’s. Would you rather have laser lights or adaptive cruise control

Personally - Laser Lights, but most important option for sure is the M Adaptive Suspension if you live anywhere where the roads are less than perfect. It changes the car into a sharp, firm, sports car, or alternatively, a soft riding relaxing ..... and bump / pot hole absorbing mechanical marvel
Always try to find one with that unless you are in a place like Arizona .... FYI - a thread I made with info: https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1984773 |

That’s tough - I love my lasers because I have them fully coded with anti-glare just like the EU specs. Nice to see the light “dance” away from oncoming traffic or create a tunnel around cars in front. This is by far the best light I’ve had compared to previous cars. On the other hand this is the first time I’ve had ACC and I can’t own a car without ACC ever again. Just don’t see myself going back. I believe it’s a prerequisite for the extended traffic jam assist which I use all the time to let the car take over while stuck in traffic/gridlock. Tough choice between both features really.

Update. I hope all the good people who commented are able to hear this news.
So, the dealer is buying my car back for what I paid minus taxes and fees. I found a ‘20 in mineral grey 49k miles, every single option. No, really. Name and option for that year and I’ll tell you it has it. The other one I was looking at had 54k miles, black and did not have adaptive suspension, active cruise control, or traffic jam. Plus I don’t mind it’s out of warranty as I plan on getting CarShield I’m happy.

LOL!!! I’m sorry. I’m a very picky person. You are a bigger person than I am 😂. I prayed I could adjust. But it’s just perfect. Out of warranty is ok for me. And idrive 7 yes plz. Thanks again
