330i Fog Light Delete

I would like to do a fog light delete on my 330i as I live in a country where there is never any fog and the car just looks a lot cleaner without them.

I'm thinking of getting one of these kits to get the job done. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000...archweb201603_

Would this be a difficult task to do and would I need to code out the fog lights to clear any errors and possibly get rid of any fire hazards ? I have seen a Kies Motorsport video where they changed the cerium gray air vent to black but can't find anything on removal of the whole thing.

I think I'm the first one who did it. It should came like this from factory. It looks much cleaner and meaner, like an M car. What's funny is that it comes like this for Asian market only. And that's how I got the parts, for an Asian 330i. I don't like the M340i grills with big vertical piece. This one follows the lines of bumper.

Since the whole bumper needs to come off, I did it at BMW specialist. It was a 2 hour job.
I did the coding myself. Even tough it didn't throw any codes, there was a code shown through Bimmerlink for a wrong headlight switch, so I coded the following in Bimmercode:
LCE_BEI_LIN_VAR to the new variant without NSW in the line and NSW_VERBAUT to nicht_verbaut. Both lines are in FEM module. And that's it.

Here's just a quick photo, sorry for a dirty car.

I’ve ordered the m340i inserts and want to remove the fog light and the curved black bit around it. But my mechanic is saying I have to take the bumper off. The coding is the issue as I’ve never done

The new LCI’s don’t have fogs anymore I hate it.

Yes, the whole bumper has to be taken off, so I would leave that part to professionals.
I did the coding myself and it's very simple through Bimmercode. I wrote that part in the previous post.

The whole bumper has to be taken off, and that part was done at a dealer.
I did the coding myself with Bimmercode.
As for the parts, I sourced them through Aliexpress and eBay, since they are for Asia and other markets.
Here's an example:
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EwQlWrJ

Also some other parts are shared with M340i, such as bracket between bumper and grills, so you should compare it through realoem.com
