Hello,

So I've bought crash damaged M340i. When I was buying it from pictures, I've noticed that sunroof is open, but it seems like it is tilted sideways. I've only tried to press sunroof buttons once, seems like motor did want to do something but it stopped. I did not attempt to do it again yet. Now vehicle interior is completely disassembled, power is off, so I can't do any testing. I've searched online for solution, but seems like I did not find anything about tilt problem, and I did not tried reset option. Before I dive into it, maybe anyone experienced this problem, anyone heard anything, or have any other advice?

I'm new in this forum, sorry if I posted it in wrong section. Also, my native language is not English, sorry if I have written something unclear, let me know and I will try to rephrase it.

Refer to this thread I started and resolved. Different issue, but resolution is still worth trying as the whole sunroof can be manipulated manually:
