I’ve noticed that sometimes their is a rattling sound that comes from the drive belt tensioner. It is not the injectors firing sound. In the video, you can hear the rattle, and then when I put my hand on the tensioner to stablize it, the rattle goes away. And then when I lift off my hand, the rattle comes back.

My question is whether this is normal sound for the tensioner? Or are there issues? Car drives fine but I don’t want the tensioner to all of sudden fail and cause all sorts of damage. Anyone else have this sound coming from their B58?
