E30 mix safe?
Hello all, I was wondering if running an e30 mix (about 4.5 gallons e85 and the rest 93) would be safe in my m340? Or would I need a tube and flex fuel kit to run it? Thank you guys!

It is safe from my own personal experience my research and advice from performance shops , also advise from guys with high hp b58’s.
I run a e30 mix, and pump 93 on a jb4 map 2 , before I had my DME unlocked. I did upgrade my gas lines to e85 compatible lines by fuel it and added a flex sensor to monitor the % by fuel it. I recommend at least the flex sensor so you know what % your getting. If your on a budget at minimum get a e85 mix test tube. Remember even though the gas station says pure e85 majority of the time it’s less then e85 like e80-e75 . At least here in Delaware it is E-79 so I make sure I calculate everything right. Sounds like a lot but it’s not it’s super simple. I got everything from burger Motorsport. ( I don’t work for them nor am I sponsored by them , they just have great support and fast response). |
