Exhaust Valve actuators not changing in comfort

Anyone ever run into the issue where the exhaust valve actuator doesn't change when switching from Sport to Comfort? As of right now it's loud in both and it isn't until I go to Eco mode that it changes to silent. Now here's the kicker, I coded in the exhaust valve options into the head unit and when I manually change between sporty, balanced and reduced it's noticeably different. If I change it back to "Based on drive mode" I run into the same issue.

I'm still new and might be wrong but the sporty and balanced and reduced is for the piped in sound.
