So the dealer in which i am interested in buying my m340i is 2 hrs away and they don't seem as flexible as dealers closer to me in terms of the PDI process. they said they have to drive the car 5 miles as part of the PDI process. Last time i was there i saw some young dealer techs having fun with a new car. My concern is the "Break in". What would you guys do or recommend?

My vehicle was delivered to the dealer on 04/29/24 with 7 miles. I took delivery on 05/08/24 with 8 miles on the vehicle. That one mile increase was due to my SA following me to drop-off my rental vehicle and the return drive back to the dealership. So, there was no shakedown drive as part of their PDI.

So they didn’t need to gas up either?

Not a full tank. Showed a 485 mile range.

Oop, just checked my records and the vehicle arrival date at dealership was actually 05/02. Trucking company picked up 04/29. Other info remains accurate.
