Are Gen 1 b58 and Gen 2 b58 catless downpipes the same? Specifically VRSF? Will a Gen 1 fit on an M340?

Yep they are the same downpipe.

Yes but the Mild Hybrid downpipe is different and bigger.

Yes they are the same you can fit the 4.5 inch or 5 inch we have available on either model.

Performance wise on a stock turbo not a whole lot compared to the 4.5''. Some customers tell us it sounds a little deeper.

Turbo outlet is 4.5''.
