Update 07/2024.30 Released

Making this post as today I was notified 07/2024.30 is available for my 2024 G20 330i.

I don’t want to upgrade as benefits don’t seem significant and it may further break coding options.

Feel free to post your comments.

Installed it yesterday on my 2022 330I. Didn't notice any differences/improvements other than had to recode all my bummercode functions and reflash my XHP transmission tune

Any idea if the new update “un-broke” enabling Auto Start Stop memory?

Auto start-stop disable still doesn't work with the new update with bimmercode. Only options are 1) Use bimmercode to start the car in sport individual mode or 2)Get the XHP flashtune which can disable the auto/start stop.

Womp womp
But there’s no comfort+ option for suspension in sport mode so unfortunately that won’t work for my use case and preferences.

If they could do comfort+ suspension in sport indiv then yes. I have adaptive suspension

Yeah that wouldn't work for you unfortunately. I don't have the adaptive suspension so it happens to be an ok workaround in my case.
You can always do the XHP flash tune which disables the start/stop plus updates shift points etc.

Very nice. How much is that tune? What power gains do you get?

Does it make the car better at coming to a smooth stop? The transmission is so jerky coming to a stop.

It's pricey; around $450 for the flash tune. You get stage 1, stage 2 or stage 3 so you can switch between. I run the stage 2. It makes the shifts smoother, updates shift points, enables ignition cut shifting, disables the auto start/stop and is fully customizable. You can alway update settings to start off in 2nd gear in comfort mode etc

It's $450 for the XHP transmission flash tune. It's completely separate from a motor flash tune. It doesn't add any HP; just adjustable the transmission settings

Sorry, what is Comfort+ suspension? Adaptive suspension only has two damper settings, "Comfort" and "Sport", there isn't a third setting.

Are you saying there is a third setting somewhere between these two?

Even on my car with sport+ there isn't a sport+ suspension.

You can code in a comfort+ suspension setting and comfort+ steering setting. I don’t believe you can code a sport+ suspension setting.

However there is sport+ throttle + transmission setting if you code it in.

It makes the car a little more comfortable and floaty than comfort

Disregard. There is Sport+, Sport, Comfort, and Comfort+ settings to be enabled via coding for suspension. + = more, so sport+ a bit firmer than sport, comfort + a bit softer than comfort.

Anybody notice that the instantaneous fuel economy refresh rate is super slow now? Only responds to large changes otherwise will stick to 1 number until you really change how much throttle / fuel being used.

Yes! I have the same problem and it's very annoying...
Did you found any solution?

Where can you code this? Is it in expert mode? Do you have the coding for it?

Garage List
If this matters to you, they added an M badge to the gauge cluster (previously only available on the m340) instead of the tricolor, now it’s a tricolor with the M. Very strange, I’m wondering if this was a mistake pushed with the update because it seems so random to change at this point.
