Yes all g20 saloon cars come from Mexico, touring cars are made in Germany I believe.

Well, giving BMW another chance... I had ordered a MY2024 M340i xDrive and waited 12 weeks for delivery (dealer quoted 4-6 when I placed the order on 5/31/24). Went to purchase the vehicle and the Brooklyn Grey paint had dark brown spots all over it under the clear coat. After much deliberation, I got the dealer to compensate me with a larger discount on the MY2025 order (instead of a whopping discount to take the imperfect one). Here's hoping to better luck this time because BMW corporate did not do squat for me to fix the issue

I got my prod number 2 weeks later after the order. It is scheduled for production. Ordered on August 24 or so.

Good to see the Glovis Champion depart from Altamira on Friday morning and was clear of the Gulf of Mexico prior to the latest tropical storm. Currently off the east coast of Florida, it appears to be on schedule.

Just called BMW genius for an update on my M340i they said that my vehicle finished production August 21, and went into Ready for Transport August 23. Genius says that its just sitting in storage waiting for a boat to come pick it up. Been checking the status every damn day. Cant wait any longer for this thing

SA confirmed dock date for SEP 17th in NYC so I went ahead and ordered the 898m wheel/tire combo.

It's a tough wait, I feel you. Mine was in that status for about 3 weeks, all the way up until it was on a boat, then it jumped 4 statuses at once. So hopefully it won't be too much longer for you until the next boat comes. That was a long 3 week wait though sitting in the same status

Once it does change status call them back and get the name of the boat it's on, then you can start tracking that!

Haha I'm of the same mind, I just ordered the spoiler I'm going to put on yesterday, and I'm going to order the exhaust within the next week

I just looked it up, that's a really nice wheel you ordered, better looking than stock IMO. How much did the wheels run you? I'm guessing yours is coming with runflats which is why you also ordered tires?

I got them from getbmwparts.com as the winter tire package. My car has ZTK so I'm going to swap the PS4S tires onto the 898m's and use the 995m's for the winter tires.

That's a really good idea...I'm saving this one for when I buy my winters in a month or two. That's the same site I ordered my spoiler from as well, very reasonably priced compared to many other places

Same, been waiting since the 28th or so in ready for transport. I was told they are waiting for a train to pick the cars up. They are not even an route to the port yet.

My M340i has been in final assembly since Sep 3. The F12 trick shows status 160. Does anyone know when will the next boat be from Mexico to US west coast?

Mine had been in Final Assembly since Aug 27. I called Genius last Thursday and I was told the same thing, waiting for a train to take the car to the port. Just today, it moved to status 165 "Ready for Transport".

Assuming another week or so before it gets assigned to a ship.

Yeah I’m expecting for the car to be at the east coast dealer ready for pickup mid October to early November. Right around my birthday!

No idea. but for reference I receieved my production number 7/9 and it went into production 8/21. Almost 9 weeks to this date. And it is still stuck on Ready for transport. Also forgot to mention is that Genius told me to call them back next monday for another update. Praying by that time it is out of storage and assigned to a boat. Hoping for Mid September delivery not hoping for later september into october
