Hi I have a 2020 330i I’ve been running a mst intake and a jb+ at max not sure what else to do to it. Any ideas would be nice thanks! I would tune it but I feel like it’s not worth it on this car I had a stage 1 before and it literally feels the same as a jb+ at max. Here’s some pictures of it below. Also some rollers of my car.

Thanks for the input really appreciate it. I would go big turbo but that’s expensive.😂I also already have a front splitter and trunk spoiler I definitely need a rear diffuser though and side skirts. Wheels I might try to find some off Facebook marketplace. Right now I’m sitting on h&r lowering springs but I kind of want coils I want to go lower. Thanks again for the input!

Yeah man, no problem. If you’re thinking coils next, st suspension has a nice set that I’ve been thinking of getting. You also don’t need to just jump to a turbo, could just start with a downpipe and some stage 2 ots tune. I’m running Active Autowerk’s catted downpipe and bm3’s 91 stage 2 ots tune and it definitely pulls more over stock / stage 1. AA’s downpipe is pretty pricy though ($1500), if you’re okay with catless, there’s other options in the $300 range. |

Yeah I’ve been thinking about running a tune you really think it’s worth it though I’ve heard people getting the same numbers as a stage 2 ots with just a jb+.

Thank you for the insight! So I had a stage 1 91 octane tune from mg flasher my car was at 30,000 miles and I didn’t change my spark plugs before tuning since I was new to BMW’s. So I tuned the car and two weeks later I blew a fuel injector. Do you think it happened because I didn’t have a proper ACN tune since I live in California or my spark plugs caused it? That’s the only reason I’ve been scared to tune my car again.

I read through this then went down a rabbit hole reading about ACN 91 fuel. I grew up and CA, and might move back some day, so it actually concerns me. I never even knew it had a state specific fuel type (weird as F to me) but from what I've read it requires slightly less boost for a given fuel type. Stock cars are obviously tuned down for reliability and emissions, but on a modified car I could see how that could potentially cause problems without the right tune.
My advice, and what I will do if I end up back to California the Republic, is tune my car to run off of E85, because it's pretty much available everywhere, you can run an even more aggressive tune, and as far as I know, there is no "California special" E85 out there. Fingers crossed, it will pass CA smog too, because ethanol is supposedly more emissions friendly than gasoline. |

diffuser
if u want a diffuser, there is literally only one type produced for g20 330s w/o m bumpers. its a maxton rear valance diffuser. its like $300 for a gloss black diffuser but its the only thing to get. check it out. i got it on my car and fitment is pretty good but u have to use ur own 3m for the top piece.
