downpipe + muffler delete recommended?

Currently have a catless downpipe installed in my g20 330i. I want more sound so I plan to do a muffler delete. However, after reading other forums people say that it will drone alot and resonator delete is the way to go. If I were to do a resonator delete paired with that catless downpipe, won't the sound be very crispy instead of a good b48 bass roar?

Don't do that, you will get a shitty sound and drone that no one will appreciate. I recommend getting a proper sports exhaust if you'd like to improve your sound.

If you're looking for more interesting sounds from your car. Get a cold air intake, it's my favorite thing I did to mine. If you're looking for more than that, youtube is awesome for comparing sounds.

I like the sound better with the OPF on, but OPF delete gives a bit more power. I find with OPF delete the sound is too deep, gurgly, and raspy.

Do you have any sounds clips of just the awe with resonator delete? I'm interested in that setup with the stock dp.

That is a personal preference, i think muffler and resonator delete sounds bad regardless of the downpipe

Adding a higher flow downpipe will make it sound even louder, raspier and with more drone.

if you want to fix this issue, you should address the muffler delete

So just doing stage 2 with dp and resanator delete should sound good with little drone. I want to keep the muffler so I can control the exhaust values that I coded in with bimmercode
