The price difference will differ depending on options and packs you had previously spec'd on the MY24. To match a fully loaded touring MY24 does appear to be approx. 5K more expensive for MY25.
I also decided to stick with my existing order, due to start build imminently. I'd like os8.5, but other than that meh there's not much difference. I'd have missed skyscraper grey and the cognac leather m-sport seats more if I'd switched. I'm also not sure the MY25 will get the extended storage contents option at all (the electric rear seat fold, and luggage compartment gripper strips) - as these are an additional option visible on the German site but not mentioned at all on UK site - this was previously fitted with the old comfort+ pack. |

It would be great to get the M340 Touring - it's not available/offered here in Australia. I'm looking at the new Arctic Race Blue colour, for sedan.
And - the interior tweaks are great - the last 3 series before the full electric range, perhaps. :-( |

BMWs pricing is a real issue for me. I've got a 330i that's coming up for 3 years old so ordinarily I might be looking to change but there's no affordable option that wouldn't be a significant downgrade. The dealer calls occasionally trying to sell various deals but I'd be nuts to take them up. I'll probably be keeping what I've got for a good few years yet.

Looking to keep mine for a fair few years (not least as I bought rather than leased)
Last BM I had got rid of with 115k on the clock and the one before had 120k on (plus about 10k where the odometer didn't work!) - the last MOT had it on 192k On 40k now at 4yo, so at that rate, another 8 years or so.

Wife's 220i just turned four years old with 27k on the clock and she's adamant she's definitely not going to change hers in the foreseeable future. |

Funnily enough though, the last 3 cars I have got for the Mrs have all been new. She's currently on a 18 plate Scooby Outback with 86k on and has no desire to change. Hope to be able to get another 100k out of it.

My 530d touring is approaching the end of its finance term and a M340i or d is a natural replacement now the kids have moved on and we dont need such a big wagon
Annoyingly my 5er has had numerous warranty issues and they still havent fixed the EGR issue with my car however as a serial BMW tart I cant see anything else out there that takes my fancy So Ive just been looking at a new M340i on the configurator and my conclusion is LOL, LOLZ, ha ha, are you kidding me and other similar outbursts The recent price increases are understandable although my own pay has been trimmed since COVID but the insidious stripping of standard spec means I need to add a shed load of options to achieve parity with a poverty spec car from the current model year Metallic paint and decent alloys should not be options on a 70k car and thats even before you consider it needs leather and adaptive etc to bring it up to recent factory defaults Shame really, my 530d has been sensational if flawed and is still worth decent cash as a trade in but the price differential just doesnt make sense Carwow will give 14% without quibble, if anyone has done better with a dealer direct please let me know as Im ready to deal Cheers |

I’ve run a spec on a few occasions recently for an M340i touring with pretty much everything. Best discount is 12% meaning it’s a saving of £9.2k. This make the purchase price £67.5k from Jardine in Milton Keynes. My 73’ plate RS3 Vorsprung is worth approx £51k with 3,600 miles on it. I just can’t justify £67k, so £16k more!! Even autotrader is difficult due to the lower specs on offer but high prices imo. I’d be really interested also to hear from anyone which dealers are negotiating strong discounts! If not, I’m going to try and see out the year, perhaps wait for March to see if it brings any changes. |

Try Tony Lewis (if you google for trldeals you'll find his contact info) at Berry BMW in Croydon. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer: when I bought mine last year he beat anywhere else and was great to deal with too.

Play the dealers against each other, especially in this environment.
When I got my car last year, I got offers from a few dealerships, including TRL and then asked my local Sytner to see what they could do. They went beyond TRL + the rest and also threw in some additional perks. Every dealership is chasing their sales targets and if you spend a bit of time shopping around, you might get lucky. |
