Just seen it on Ebay now £410 including postage to considering it. Has anyone fitted the Maxton Design one? Its only £135 but I have always purchased original BMW parts so not sure how it will look or the quality?

The G21 M Performance part entails removing the existing top of the tailgate trim and replacing it with the M Performance part. The brake light also needs to be transferred over. I had mine installed by Motech as i was not convinced i would be able to do this without making a pigs ear of it. The Maxton ones are a small trim that gets stuck onto the existing with 3M Tape. I had one of these on my previous M135i and other than making sure they are lined up they are a simple fit, no drilling or screwing required. I might be wrong but i believe the M3 Touring part would be similar to the Maxton one (but probably 3-4 times the price ) although i have not seen listed for sale. The underlying part on the stock car looks to be the same as the standard G21 with the add on part on top. |

All fitted alot easier than expected. Just need to get around to finding some nice 791M or 797M alloys next year.
