What I am curious at is why M3 G81 does not get M-performance roof spoiler standard and has to go with stick on part? And why M-performance one comes with a additional front "airdam" bolt on plank? Which the stick on parts do not require.
The ACS is probably the best looking of the lot IMO. I like the way it blends with the roof rails. Trouble is its a small fortune - Motech sell it pre painted in gloss black for £656, which is just insane for a piece of plastic!

Just seen it on Ebay now £410 including postage to considering it. Has anyone fitted the Maxton Design one? Its only £135 but I have always purchased original BMW parts so not sure how it will look or the quality?

Spendy42 They are completely different things.

The G21 M Performance part entails removing the existing top of the tailgate trim and replacing it with the M Performance part. The brake light also needs to be transferred over.

I had mine installed by Motech as i was not convinced i would be able to do this without making a pigs ear of it.

The Maxton ones are a small trim that gets stuck onto the existing with 3M Tape. I had one of these on my previous M135i and other than making sure they are lined up they are a simple fit, no drilling or screwing required.

I might be wrong but i believe the M3 Touring part would be similar to the Maxton one (but probably 3-4 times the price ) although i have not seen listed for sale. The underlying part on the stock car looks to be the same as the standard G21 with the add on part on top.

I know they are both different, just wasnt sure if anyone had fitted the cheaper different option that was all. I will probably just end up getting the BMW option though.

+1 for the M Performance part. I think it looks like the car came with it, rather than a aftermarket add on. All IMHO of course…

They had 1 left £400 and £10 shipping cheapest I have see one so ordered it. Just got to fit it, as long as it's easier than the rear diffuser (niggtmare getting the old std one off) I won't have any complaints 🤣

All fitted alot easier than expected. Just need to get around to finding some nice 791M or 797M alloys next year.
