Replica Laser Lights

I ended up getting the Ali Express replica lasers and after 8 hours pulling things apart we got them in. They came with 2 round modules that I kept on but need to swap over the square controller from the LED lights.

Bad news is the DRLs aren’t that bright during the day especially if its sunny and at certain angles you can see dim spots near the grill. When its cloudy they look great and in photos they look even better. I originally seen people on ticktok rocking them and convinced me to pull the trigger.

Im wondering if I swap the round modules from the old lights if the DRLS will get brighter. Im thinking about swapping the ones on top and compare since they are easily accessible before taking the bumper off again.

Last thing i added the bay optics laser retrofit picture. I originally wanted to do this but didnt want my car to be down for 6 weeks but now its an option to send in my old lights. I just dont like how they remove the dummy light. What do you guys think about that. Are bay optics DRLs as bright as OEM?

What is the night time performance of them? The stock LEDs have me kicking around the idea of this but not at the expense of dimmer DRLs.

They look great! Also thinking about upgrading my headlights to this.

I currently have the base led so I will have to buy the control module seperately. Do you mind sharing the part number of your module? Or is any Adaptive Led module for the g20 compatible?

Looking forward to seeing the nighttime pictures 👍🏼

first picture with the trash cans showing are OEM second picture is the aftermarket. Aftermarket are significantly brighter. Also the DRLs really pop at night.

Thanks for taking the time to shoot the pictures. It does look brighter indeed and also less glare above the straight cut light line.

I ordered the headlights and will figure out how to make them work when they arrive.

Did you have to code any errors out after installing the new lights?

Did you ever get around to code it out? I’m currently having the same issue but I’ve been unable to find any way to code it out

I've also got these laser light upgrade and they are really good. I purchased the ones with the side marker since i didn't mind them and haven't got any errors with these lights. They work exactly like the adaptive led lights, swivel, corner lights etc all work the same..

Do you know if the cornering function works on these headlights so will the lights shine in the direction you steer ?
